Add the connector
Claude and ChatGPT.
Both Claude and ChatGPT add the Presso connector through a "Connectors" settings screen. The URL is the same in both:
https://mcp.presso.events/mcp
Before you start: what your plan allows
Adding a custom connector is a setting your AI provider controls, not something Presso can switch on for you. If the option is missing or the connector appears but nothing works, it is almost always this. Check your plan first, then come back.
- Claude: custom connectors using remote MCP are available on Free, Pro, Max, Team and Enterprise. On Free you may have one custom connector in total, so if you already use one for something else, you will need to remove it or upgrade. See Anthropic's get started with custom connectors using remote MCP.
- Claude Team and Enterprise: only an organisation Owner can add a custom connector. Everyone else connects individually to what the Owner has already configured. If you work for a company on one of these plans, this is an IT request rather than a five-minute task, so raise it early and send whoever owns your workspace the connector URL above.
- ChatGPT: adding a custom MCP connector requires Developer mode, which is available on Plus, Pro, Business, Enterprise and Education, on the web. On Business it must be turned on by a workspace admin. See OpenAI's developer mode and MCP apps in ChatGPT and the developer mode guide.

Plan check: Free, Pro, Max, Team or Enterprise. On Free, Presso has to be your one custom connector. On Team or Enterprise, an Owner adds it for the organisation.
- Go to Settings → Connectors.
- Choose Add custom connector.
- Paste the connector URL above and save.
- Tell Claude what you're running. Signed in as nobody, the connector can do exactly one thing: create your organisation. It will hand you a link back.
Reconnecting, step two. Once your organisation exists, Presso replies with a link. Open it, confirm the connector, and you are done. The link signs you in, so there is nothing to paste and no authentication method to choose. If you are curious why there are two steps at all, here is the explanation.

Plan check: Plus, Pro, Business, Enterprise or Education, on the web, with Developer mode turned on. On Business an admin has to enable it.
- Go to Settings → Connectors.
- If you don't see an option to add a custom connector, turn on Developer mode first (Settings → Connectors, or for a workspace: Workspace Settings → Permissions & Roles) - custom MCP connectors sit behind this switch.
- Choose Add, then Create (or "Add custom connector").
- Paste the connector URL above, pick an authentication method, and save.
Reconnecting, step two. Presso replies with a second address, the same one as above but with your sign-in on the end. Edit the connector, replace the URL with that one, and save. There is no token to paste and no authentication method to pick, because the address itself signs you in. Treat it like a password and do not forward it.
Once you are connected, Claude Cowork and your event folder shows the power path: keeping your brief, ticket plan and speaker notes in a folder your AI reads.
