Presso Events - Guide

Add the connector

Claude and ChatGPT.

Both Claude and ChatGPT add the Presso connector through a "Connectors" settings screen. The URL is the same in both:

https://mcp.presso.events/mcp

Claude

  1. Go to Settings → Connectors.
  2. Choose Add custom connector.
  3. Paste the connector URL above and save.
  4. Tell Claude what you're running - it uses the connector, with no token yet, to create your organisation and issue your token.

Reconnecting with your token. Claude's connector settings screen is built for OAuth (an authorisation URL, a token URL, a client ID) rather than a plain bearer-token field, so there's no box in the UI to paste a pev_... token into directly. In practice this step is handled by the Presso connector itself: add the same connector URL again, and when Presso's server challenges you for a credential, paste your token at that prompt. If Claude's connectors settings change this, Anthropic's connector authentication docs are the source of truth.

ChatGPT

  1. Go to Settings → Connectors.
  2. If you don't see an option to add a custom connector, turn on Developer mode first (Settings → Connectors, or for a workspace: Workspace Settings → Permissions & Roles) - custom MCP connectors sit behind this switch.
  3. Choose Add, then Create (or "Add custom connector").
  4. Paste the connector URL above, pick an authentication method, and save.

Reconnecting with your token. Once you have your pev_... token, edit the connector and set the authentication method to an API key or bearer token, then paste it into the connector's authentication field. See OpenAI's developer mode and MCP apps article if the exact field names have moved.
