Open an organiser account before 1 January 2027 and the first £50 of platform fee is on us. It is per organiser account rather than per event, and it covers our platform fee only. Stripe's own processing is charged by Stripe at their standard rate, as it would be anywhere else. Because the fee is collected per transaction at checkout, we credit it back rather than skip it at the till. The full wording is in clause 5 of the terms.

The short answers.
What does Presso Events cost? +
A flat 1% of ticket sales, VAT inclusive. There is no minimum, no per-attendee charge, no tiers, no setup fee, no monthly fee and no contract. Stripe charges its own standard processing on top, paid directly to Stripe, exactly as it would anywhere else.
Is 1% really all you take? +
Yes. One percent of the ticket price, taken as each payment passes into your Stripe account, and no booking fee added to your attendees. There is no second line on the bill.
What happens with free events? +
Free tickets are free. The fee is a percentage of ticket revenue, so no revenue means no fee, and you still get the Event Portal, the checkout and the attendee app.
Who holds the money? +
You do. Payments go into your own Stripe account and our fee is taken on the way past. Presso Network Ltd is not the merchant of record, never holds your funds, and there is no payout schedule to wait on - Stripe pays you out on your own Stripe timetable.
What do I need to run this? +
A Stripe account, or five minutes to create one during setup. If you want to drive it by talking to an AI you also need a subscription to an assistant that supports MCP connectors, such as Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor. If you would rather click, the Event Portal needs nothing but a browser.
Can I use a dashboard instead of talking to it? +
Yes. The Event Portal at my.presso.events is a normal web page you can read and act in. The MCP connector is the fastest way to change things, not the only way.
What happens to the fee if I refund a ticket? +
Refund the ticket in the portal or through your AI and the platform fee on that ticket is refunded with it. We do not keep a fee on a sale that did not stand.
