Terms of Service
Last updated 14 July 2026
1. Who we are
Presso Events is operated by Presso Network Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 11569104), registered office 404, 3 Friars Walk, Reading, Berkshire, RG1 1JB, United Kingdom. VAT number GB 305074045. In these terms, "Presso", "we", "us" and "our" mean Presso Network Ltd; "you" means the organiser account holder. These terms cover the Presso Events product; for Presso Network Ltd's company-wide terms and policies, see pressonetwork.com/legal.
2. The agreement
These terms govern your use of the Presso Events platform, including the organiser portal, the MCP interface, and the browser-based attendee app (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these terms. If you are using Presso on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you have authority to bind that organisation.
3. Your account
Sign-in is passwordless. You are responsible for the email account used to access Presso and for activity under your account. You must be at least 18 and able to enter a binding contract. Keep your account details accurate and up to date.
4. Running your events
You are the organiser of the events you create. You are responsible for your event content, ticket terms, refunds, and for complying with all laws that apply to your event, including consumer, tax and licensing rules. You must not use Presso for festivals, club nights, consumer ticketing at scale, or any event that breaches our acceptable use rules below.
5. Fees and payment
- Platform fee. A flat 1% of ticket sales, with no minimum and no per-attendee charge, collected as a Stripe application fee per transaction. The same 1% applies whether or not the attendee app is enabled.
- Presso Pro. An optional add-on for your own branded domain, at £49/month or £490/year, plus VAT, billed through Stripe. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
- Payment processing. Ticket payments are processed through your own connected Stripe account. Stripe charges its own fees, which are separate from and additional to our platform fee. Ticket funds are settled to you by Stripe; Presso does not hold your ticket revenue.
6. Attendee data and roles
For attendee personal data processed through the Service, you are the data controller and Presso acts as your data processor, save where we determine our own purposes (for example account administration), in which case we are a controller. You own your attendee contacts and may export them at any time. Our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.
7. Acceptable use
You must not misuse the Service, including by: breaking the law or facilitating others to; infringing intellectual property or privacy rights; sending spam or unlawful communications; attempting to gain unauthorised access, probe, or disrupt the Service; or reselling the Service without our written agreement.
8. Intellectual property
We and our licensors own the Service and all rights in it. You keep all rights in your own content and data. You grant us the limited licence needed to host and display your content in order to provide the Service to you and your attendees.
9. Availability and changes
We work to keep Presso available but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Parts of the Service may be in active development and offered on an as-is basis. We may add, change or remove features, giving reasonable notice of material changes where we can.
10. Disclaimers and liability
To the extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law (including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud). Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, revenue, data or goodwill, and our total liability in any 12-month period is limited to the fees you paid us in that period.
11. Termination
You may stop using Presso and close your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you materially breach these terms or use the Service unlawfully. On termination you may export your data for a reasonable period, after which we may delete it in line with our Privacy Policy.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will post the updated version here and change the "last updated" date. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, save that if you are a consumer you may benefit from mandatory protections of your country of residence.
